Dr. Saha, fondly known as C.K. to his colleagues, received his
hyperbaric and wound care training in San Antonio, Texas in 1999. His
expertise as a vascular surgeon is invaluable in treating the patients we
see here with complex and difficult to heal wounds.
Dr. Saha received his medical degree at Calcutta
Medical College and obtained his Master of Surgery degree from Delhi
University in India. He came to the U.S. where he did his surgical residency
at the Hospital for Bone and Joint Diseases in New York City, continuing on
in his training as a fellow in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at Mt.
Sinai Hospital in the Bronx. He is board certified in both general surgery
and thoracic and cardiovascular surgery and a Fellow in the American College
of Surgeons (FACS). He has held an appointment as an assistant clinical
professor of TCV surgery at Cornell University Medical Center and has served
on numerous hospital boards and committees.
